The activities of the company range from the distribution of the government flagship programme, Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ), subsidized fertilizers, open market fertilizers, seeds, and all kinds of agrochemicals and farm inputs. The company has been in existence for the past five (5) years and currently has four (4) shops operating within the Central and Greater Accra regions of Ghana.
The company was incorporated on the 12th day of January, 2018. However, the company became fully operational in June 2018 with the first outlet at Awutu Bawjiase, with a total stock estimate of about GH¢150,000. The company has seen tremendous growth over the last five years, from one outlet in 2018 to four (4) outlets in 2023, with an estimated stock value of over GH¢2,500,000.
The growth has been characterized by the hard work of the sales team and excellent customer service delivery to clients over the years. The company is also licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency to distribute and retail pesticides and herbicides.
The company currently retails and distributes fertilizers from different fertilizer-importing companies, with the underlisted being the main companies that supply Aqeela services with open market fertilizers.
